Syncstation trigger

I am trying to use the syncstation to trigger recording for external devices (Mocap + Bipolar EMG + Force plates), but I have some trouble understanding what signal is being sent by the output trigger port? I would like to trigger everything from when I hit record in the OTBiolab software; however, the external devices start and stop recording every 4 or 5 seconds as soon as the HD EMG data starts streaming.

the SyncStation is designed to work this way: its trigger output sends only a short pulse rather than maintaining a high signal for the entire recording period.
For this reason, the recommended approach is to start recording on all devices manually and then synchronize them in post-processing using the SyncStation trigger pulse as a reference point.
This way, all systems will record continuously, and you can later align their data streams accurately based on the trigger pulse.
